About the Show

The Plunket Art Show has had a remarkable track record, boasting four decades of successful operation. It is driven by a diligent committee consisting of passionate and knowledgeable art enthusiasts. The primary objective of our art exhibition is to generate profits to support our local Plunket organisation.

The art show commences with a highly-anticipated opening night event featuring a lively auction, delectable refreshments, and engaging social ambiance. This enchanting evening sets the stage for a two-week long exhibition, open to the general public, where the diverse array of captivating artworks will be showcased.

A key part of the success of the RSM Law Plunket Art Show is that it is held in our regional gallery in Timaru District, the Aigantighe Art Gallery, and we are fortunate to have such a wonderful and dedicated gallery team working to put together the exhibition for us.

Kelvin McMillan, an artist who has previously exhibited at our show has very kindly donated this stunning landscape which will be for sale at this year's art show with full proceeds going to our local Plunket. He is pictured with Julia Traylor, committee member and director of RSM Law. The piece is currently on display at RSM Law until the curating of our show in the first week of May.
